Atmospheric Dynamics Group

Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP)

Welcome

The Atmospheric Dynamics Group is a research group in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge. Together with the group for Atmospheric Chemistry in the Chemistry Department, it forms the Centre for Atmospheric Science.

We are interested in the fluid dynamical problems involved in understanding our chemical-climatic environment. For more details of what we do, please look at our research page.

News

We welcome new PhD students. Potential supervisors in our group include Professor Peter Haynes, Professor Michael McIntyre, Dr. Stephan Fueglistaler.

Students interested in doing a PhD in our group should take a look at our Courses and Opportunities page.
